Jay Z and Kanye West served as headlining acts for the 2014 SXSW. On March 12, both rappers performed at a special event sponsored by Samsung at the Austin Music Hall. Attendees had to register via their Samsung phones or enter their names to win a lottery for tickets. Hours before the doors opened, the line stretched for two blocks.
A capacity crowd and celebrity guests such as Diddy and Tyler The Creator were on hand to witness Jay Z and Kanye West’s two-hour performance.
