Ludacris loses custody battle against Tamika Fuller

After making the bold move to file for full custody of his love child with Tamika Fuller, claiming that he couldn’t afford the child support Fuller was demanding, Ludacris is hit with a tough judgement.

Not only was Fuller awarded full custody of their 4-month-old daughter, Cai Bella, on the grounds that “being with her mother is in the child’s best interest,” but Luda is now forced to fork over $35K in addition to Fuller’s legal fees.

According to RadarOnline,

““The Petitioner shall pay the Guardian ad Litem’s initial retainer of $7,500.00, to be replenished to the full amount when depleted to $1,500.00,” the documents read.

“The Guardian ad Litem shall be billed at a rate of $325.00 per hour. The retainer shall be paid directly to the Guardian ad Litem within 14 days of the entry of this order.”

“Petitioner shall pay to Respondent’s counsel, Thirty Five Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00), in addition to any amounts previously awarded or paid, as an award of temporary attorney’s fees and expenses of litigation,” the March 20 ruling reads.

As we previously reported, Luda and his baby’s mother Tamika Fuller had been battling it out in an Atlanta family court over custody and child support after Fuller asked the judge for $15,000 per month in child support, to which Luda insisted that he couldn’t afford as he only made $50,000 the previous year.

In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Ludacris claimed that he was a “fit and capable parent,” has always been “an active father” to his 12-year-old daughter and should be awarded full physical custody of his newborn daughter.

In addition to full custody, the Fast and Furious star asked the judge to award him child support. Just a month ago, the judge countered Fuller’s request for $15K a month by awarding her $7K a month.

Looks like Fuller came up much more than expected. Luckily for Ludacris, he has a few movies in his pocket and will be able to pay the bill. – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
