Jenny McCarthy engaged
“The View” co-host Jenny McCarthy tearfully announced her engagement to her beau on the daytime talk show. McCarthy, who was previously the longtime girlfriend of Jim Carrey, is engaged to Donnie Wahlberg.
The 41-year-old former Playmate showed off a stunning yellow sapphire engagement ring from the 44-year-old former New Kids on the Block star.
Wahlberg used McCarthy’s 11-year-old son, who brought her various cards that read “will you marry me,” to help him pop the question.
“And he got down on his knee and he said, ‘Will you marry me?’ McCarthy said. “And I, of course, said ‘yes’ and in that moment Evan yelled, ‘I have another dad,’ and it just made all of us cry.”
McCarthy and Walhberg are said to be planning an August wedding.
