Allison Leedy, 20, wanted more for herself than her current life. She’d dated Gabriel Galan Navarro, also 20, for three years and decided she wanted to go to college in California. Leedy apparently hadn’t discussed the move with Navarro, and when he found out, he didn’t take the news well. He reportedly strangled her to death in their apartment.
Adding insult to injury, he texted Leedy’s parents and her younger sister.
“If you are getting this you are responsible for Allison’s death. You turned her against me,” Navarro writes. “She’s dead. I have the last laugh.”
He’s been charged in King County Superior Court, Seattle, Wash. with first-degree murder.
