Sex tapes are nothing new in the world of entertainment, but very rarely has the world ever seen fans respond so furiously and quickly to last week’s news that a so-called private sex tape of Mimi Faust and Nikko was being released by Vivid Entertainment.
In the blink of an eye, Faust’s entire reputation changed and ravenous fans were scrambling to get their hands on the porn. With interest so high, there was no doubt that sales would be high but a new report claims that the pre-sales for the porn are breaking expectations and shooting through the roof at an astronomical rate.
According to TMZ, the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” stars’ sex tape is quickly becoming one of the fastest-selling porn’s that Vivid Entertainment has ever released.
Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch told the site that he’s never seen orders this high before and that the company has already raked in more than $400,000 (quadruple Faust’s alleged Vivid payoff) in pre-sales off the trailer for the porn alone.
And with the porn finally being released on Vivid today, sales are expected to continue to skyrocket.
Well, Faust’s reputation may be completely tarnished, crippled and possibly not salvageable, but at least she and Nikko now know that they can make a killing if they ever want to become full-time porn actors. –nicholas robinson
