Columbus Short’s wife videotaped attacking his friend
The bizarre antics of Columbus Short are apparently still ongoing now that a video of his wife beating a woman has surfaced. As previously reported, Short’s messy personal life has overshadowed his career as of late, ranging from a reported murder-suicide threat to accusations of spousal battery.
The actor’s off-screen shenanigans are apparently so tumultuous that they’ve lead to him being pulled from Shonda Rhimes’ hit show “Scandal” where Harrison Wright was politely plucked off during the season finale.
Short’s latest debacle involves his estranged wife, Tanee McCall Short, who apparently became so enraged that a “friend” of his came to their house that a violent beating ensued.
In the video, which was recorded by Short and leaked by the actor, Tanee tussles with an unidentified woman while shouting, “You come to my f—ing house?! Low rent b—-!”
She then spits on the woman before walking away and adding, “I will f— you up! I just saved your life!”
While the drama is unfolding before him, Short records silently on his cellphone before finally asking his friend, “You good? You OK?”
He then tells his wife, “Just so we’re clear, you just saved your own life.”
The disturbing video, which was first obtained by TMZ and was allegedly Short’s way of showing his wife’s violent behavior, was apparently shot by Short on Feb. 19, the day after he was arrested for domestic violence. The woman in the video was apparently summoned to the house by the actor to pick him up.
Short has remained virtually mum on the ongoing drama in his personal life, but added this Deepak Chopra style gem for his followers on Twitter.
