Maria Huq interview

In addition to expressing her disappointment with Quad Webb-Lunceford and Phaedra Parks for making disparaging remarks about her, Mariah Huq of “Married to Medicine” fame dished on a weight loss program she’s developed with her spouse. Dubbed the Cinnamon Girl diet, the fat loss aid was developed with minority women in mind.

“Cinnamon Girl diet is a new diet program that my husband Dr. Aydin Huq and I designed. It’s a 30-day program for women of color whether it’s African American, Asian or Latina and basically it’s a kit that comes with an appetite suppressant that you take in the morning, and one you take at night, a 1,200 calorie meal plan and it comes with a shake; a meal replacement shake and protein bars. Delicious!

“Yasss honey, getting the people skinny, honey!” she added.

“All through the season I wear wigs and it’s just because I want to protect my natural hair. The reason I switched from wigs to sew-ins was because it was a lot more versatile for me and I could just take the wigs off every week and a half.

“That’s how I keep my natural hair healthy, I keep heat off it,” added the reality star.
