The biggest selling rapper of the digital age and South Florida native Flo Rida was the celebrity principal for the day at Miami Edison Middle School to celebrate its victory in the Get Schooled Diplomas Now Attendance Challenge today. He was joined by rapper Ace Hood and Gorilla Zoe as the three recognized the enormous efforts of students and staff at the school.
Last night, prior to serving as celebrity principal of the day, in a ceremony for the state of the city address, Mayor Oliver Gilbert presented Flo Rida with the key to the City of Miami Gardens, Florida’s largest black municipality better known as Carol City. The first key to be given by Mayor Gilbert was presented to Flo Rida for his commitment to preparing South Florida Youth for success through his Florida Youth Football League and his various programs coordinated through his Big Dreams For Kids Charity.
