‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ sets ratings record

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 3 Poster

Without a doubt, this is turning out to be the most dramatic season in “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” history with double the fights, double the infidelity, and, sadly, even more violence. But all of that drama is certainly resulting in a big viewership because a new report has revealed that “LHHA” recently hit a ratings high note.

According to TVByTheNumbers.com, “LHHA” pulled in 3.98 million viewers on Monday night, making it the second highest watched cable show of the night. The reality TV show was only bested by ESPN’s broadcast of the FIFA World Cup, which garnered a massive 9.7 million viewers.

According to the report, Monday night’s episode of “LHHA” outperformed the season 3 premiere, which garnered 3.76 million viewers, making this week’s episode the highest-rated episode of the season so far.

Considering that the season isn’t done yet and there’s still so much drama to come, there’s definitely a chance for “LHHA” to top that number and bring in even higher ratings, especially since fans are eating up every “ratchet” and violent moment. – nicholas robinson
