Everyone get out your violins and play a sad song for killer George Zimmerman. The man who shot Trayvon Martin dead is apparently enduring financial hardship because no one will hire him or buy his paintings on eBay.
In recent divorce proceeding documents, Zimmerman had to list his financial assets in an affidavit. According to Zimmerman, he has no income even though he spends roughly $3,304 a month. Zimmerman goes on to claim that:
- He is unemployed
- He pays nothing for rent or mortgage
- He is uninsured
- He spends $100 a month on vacation
- His legal defense fund which once raised more than $400,000 has a $300 balance
Zimmerman received widespread attention last year when a painting he created sold on eBay for $100,000. His total assets are listed at $14,000 and he owes more than $2.5 million, mostly in legal debts. His estranged wife, Shelly Zimmerman, filed for divorce and cited his violent behavior among the reasons. In a well-publicized 911 call, police had to respond to a violent domestic altercation.
