Wedged sneakers were started by Isabel Marant, who designed the first pair. Since then, knockoffs have come out in droves. And honestly, why not? In a pair of practical and very functional sneakers with a wedge heel … ladies’ feet are in heaven. Nike has even joined in the trend, but instead of Velcro straps like Marant’s, they have added laces and a very affordable price point.
