Mimi Faust has certainly been through a lot with her ex-boyfriend, Nikko London, including everything from allegedly being tricked into doing a sex tape with him to later finding out that he was already married to a woman name Margo Simms. And although a dysfunctional relationship like that would leave many women weary of giving their heart away again, Faust claims that Nikko hasn’t soured her outlook on love.
In a new interview with TheJasmineBrand.com, Faust shares intimate details about her former relationship with Nikko, including how they dated even before she appeared on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.”
Nikko and I met years ago and we dated back in the day and I ran back into Nikko in 2012 in L.A., at the VMAs and we rekindled our relationship then, and then we started dating again back in 2012,” Faust said.
However, after two years together, things went south when Faust learned from Nikko’s former friend, Johnny Crome, that Nikko allegedly planned to record Faust having sex with him without her knowledge, and that he was already a married man.
It hadn’t been good for a little while, but definitely after that day that I found out he was married is when everything just got bad and we were never right after that and I wasn’t able to get back on board with him with that being the case,” Faust explained.
Although the couple ended on bad terms, Faust says that Nikko did teach her an important life lesson.
“I would say to always have my business in order,” said Faust.
And even though Faust’s last two relationships with Nikko and Stevie J have been anything but functional, she says that she’s still hopeful that she’ll find real love one day.
“No, no I haven’t. There’s over a billion people in the world, there’s definitely someone out there for me,” she said.
Well, we do hope that Faust does find a good man and that she’s learned to listen to her gut (and her friends) and hold herself to higher standard of self-respect because she deserves it. – nicholas robinson
