Earlier this week, Joe Budden was threatening to sue the New York Police Department after they revealed there was a warrant for his arrest in the wake of allegations from his ex-girlfriend, Audley, that he beat her during an altercation. Although Budden was previously adamant about being on the lam, it’s now been revealed that he’s turned himself in to law enforcement.
On Tuesday, Budden announced that he planned to turn himself in.
Budden also denied that he abused Audley.
But by Wednesday, Budden confirmed that he did indeed turn himself in to NYPD’s 34th precinct, where he was charged with robbery and grand larceny for stealing his ex-girlfriend’s cell phone during the altercation.
As previously reported, Audley accused Budden of attacking her after he saw photos of her with another man.
Well, we’re sure Budden will continue to keep us updated on his case as it progresses, even if he does end up in jail once again. – nicholas robinson
