Outkast has come home to Atlanta to mark the finale of their 40-city tour, which marks the 20th anniversary of the release of their debut CD, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik (1994).
The tour, which started in California at Coachella Valley Arts & Music Festival, marked the first time André “3000” Benjamin and Antwan “Big Boi” Patton performed together in 10 years. The duo’s tour stopped in New York, Australia, Japan, Montreal and Sweden.
The three-day weekend of concerts will be held at Centennial Olympic Park starting today, Friday, Sep. 26 and closes on Sunday, Sep. 28, 2014.
Here’s the weekend lineup:
Friday: 2 Chainz, Janelle Monae and Solange and Outkast’s set will also feature Bun B. Showtime: 7 p.m.
Saturday: Kid Cudi, Childish Gambino and Raury will be part of that show. Showtime: 5 p.m.
Sunday’s finale: B.o.B., Killer Mike, 8 Ball and MJG, Bun B, K Camp, Devin the Dude, Kilo, Gipp Goodie and DJ Unk. Showtime: 4 p.m.
