DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown, the alter ego of neo soul icon Erykah Badu, performed on the ones and twos at The Garden Theater in Detroit this past weekend. Badu, who is now heading up her own record label, Control FreaQ, infused her signature soulful sound with B-girl bravado. Detroit’s own DJ Lynda Carter opened for Badu.
