Rich Dollaz was always finding himself in trouble over women on “Love & Hip Hop,” so it comes as no surprise that Rich found himself in an odd batch of trouble, once again, this past weekend when he was arrested over missing child support payments. Now, Dollaz is finally speaking out on the arrest for the first time and claiming it was all just a misunderstanding.
As previously reported, Dollaz was arrested Sunday night after double parking outside of a New Jersey police station make a pit stop at Five Guys Burgers. After police ran Dollaz’s plates, they discovered that he had a warrant for his arrest for owing over $11,000 in child support and they immediately arrested him.
In a new interview with TheJasmineBrand.com, Dollaz explains that he failed to pay the child support because he now resides in Atlanta and he thought his case had been moved to his new city.
‘I’m not going to pay child support on two different cases. If the lawyers where I live tell me that they’re moving the child support from New Jersey, where I used to live, to Atlanta where I now live, I’m thinking it’s done. I’m not aware that there’s an open case in New Jersey and an open one in Atlanta,” Dollaz said.
Dollaz clarifies that VH1 cameras weren’t present during his arrest, but he’s sure the incident will be covered in the upcoming season of “LHHNY.”
