Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Ne-Yo and his foundation, The Compound Foundation, were honored at Children’s Rights’ 9th annual benefit for their commitment to benefitting those growing up in foster care and group homes. Music producer and philanthropist Swizz Beatz and Compound Foundation scholarship recipient Edgar Carranza presented Ne-Yo with the award. The evening was hosted by CNN News anchor Michaela Pereira and included cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by a dinner program. All proceeds from the evening directly support Children’s Rights’ efforts to defend and protect America’s abused and neglected kids.
