NeNe Leakes had a lot to say about her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” enemies Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey last week on “Watch What Happens Live,” so it came as no surprise last night when Moore appeared on the show that she had some choice words for Leakes as well.
The current drama between Leakes and Moore began when Leakes claimed that Moore was copying her by being on “Celebrity Apprentice.” Leakes also talked about her bet with Moore for them both to donate $20,000 to the Detroit Public Schools Foundation and she claimed that Moore waited too late to keep her end of the bargain.
However, when Moore talked about Leakes’ comments, she claimed that Leakes was lying about there being a “statue of limitations” on the deal.
“No, there was no deadline. She said, ‘you write your check and I’ll write mine.’ I wrote my check, where’s her money?” Moore said, before blasting Leakes for supposedly misspelling “statute.”
“And then she kept saying ‘statue of limitations.’ It’s statute and it’s not applicable here. So clearly she should have gone to a Detroit public school,” Moore added.
Well, we’re sure Leakes, like always, is unbothered by Moore’s claim. Sadly, it’s the Detroit Public Schools Foundation that is taking the loss since Leakes won’t pony up the donation. – nicholas robinson
