Earlier this week, Kenya Moore blasted NeNe Leakes for backing out of a high-profile bet to make a $20,000 donation to the Detroit public school system. Although Leakes initially claimed that the deal was off, it now seems like she mght have had a change of heart.
During a recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Leakes talked about her bet with Moore, in which the two “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars would match each other’s donations for the sake of charity. However, when Moore finally donated her $20,000 months later, Leakes claimed that the statute of limitations had run out on the bet.
“No, there was no deadline. She said, ‘you write your check and I’ll write mine.’ I wrote my check, where’s her money?” Moore said in her own appearance on “WWHL.”
“And then she kept saying ‘statue of limitations.’ It’s statute and it’s not applicable here. So clearly she should have gone to a Detroit public school,” Moore added.
However, when TMZ recently asked Leakes about the broken bet, she seemed to have changed her mind about refusing to give a donation.
