“X Factor” judge Mel B shocked fans last month when she opened up about her previous relationships with women, and now she’s sharing even more details about her former same-sex attractions.
In a new interview with the Guardian, Mel opened up about her past four-year relationship with Christa Parker, a mother of two whom she met at her daughter Phoenix’s school in Los Angeles.
“I did have a four-year relationship with a woman. But I’ve been very happily married for seven years to a penis. An amazing guy,” referring to her husband, Stephen Belafonte, whom she married in 2007.
Although Mel isn’t dating women anymore, she says she never had any reservations about seeing women as attractive.
“Well, you know what I mean. But I’ve definitely not been shy or been one to hold back. If I wanted to try something, I did. I had a girlfriend. So what?” said Mel.
The former Spice Girl also addressed rumors that she and Belafonte have an open marriage.
“No, me and my husband are very tight and solid. But I will be the first one to compliment a woman, to say to my husband, ‘Oh my God, look at her legs’, or, ‘Doesn’t she look stunning?’” said Mel.
