Cop beats girlfriend because abortion took too long

Sierra-Shivers

It really boggles the mind the level of violence and depravity that occurs when a thug has a badge.

This is proven by the story of Officer Sierra Shivers, 38, of the North Charleston Police Department in South Carolina. Shivers got his girlfriend pregnant, and he was not happy about the situation. He demanded the unidentified woman have an abortion.

When she initially refused to have an abortion, he became angry. According to the woman, Shivers threatened to have members of her family arrested with planted evidence. She finally submitted to his demand, and he drove her to the Charleston Women’s Medical Center to undergo the procedure on a Saturday morning.

After his girlfriend’s procedure, he drove her back home enraged because the abortion took too long, and he was going to be late for work. According to police reports, he then punched his girlfriend five times on the left side of her face causing bruising and swelling. It was then that Shivers took her to a hotel and told her not to say anything about the incident.

She called the police several hours later and reported the violent attack by Shivers. When North Charleston police initially responded, she requested instead that the Sheriff’s Department handle the situation, since Shivers was a city cop.

Shivers was arrested on charges of criminal domestic violence and posted a bail of $2,505. He is now on unpaid administrative leave with the North Charleston Police Department.
