Twitter users protest FSU’s football recruit, connected to Georgia student’s death

The tragic death of Valdosta, Georgia, teen Kendrick Johnson has split the city apart. Officially ruled an accident due to positional apyhxisia, too many questions remain regarding the discovery of his body. Johnson was found upside down in a rolled up wrestling mat in the school gym. One of the more than 30 defendants named in a wrongful death lawsuit is former Lowndes County High School senior Brian Bell. It is alleged that Bell and other unnamed individuals may have assaulted Johnson. So far, no evidence has been put forth to confirm an alleged assault.

Bell went on to graduate and is now on the Florida State University football team with an athletic scholarship. However, people on social media are protesting the school’s decision to recruit Bell. Recent posts to the @fsu_football  Twitter account reveals just how angry these people are:
