Kevin McCall and Eva Marcille had a rather messy breakup last year, and that carried over last week when McCall blasted rapper Wale after Marcille posted a kiss emoji on one of Wale’s Instagram photos. Now, McCall is opening up about the incident and making shocking accusations about his broken family.
Yesterday, McCall called into Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club” and opened up about his longstanding rift with Marcille and how it was the catalyst for his blowup last week.
“I just been going through it with my baby. I miss my baby. I feel like Wale is one of my colleagues so I feel like with us, going through our stuff, our private life — she shouldn’t be doing stuff like that. You know what I mean? And as for him, I didn’t say anything about him. But I said something to her on his page. But I didn’t say nothing about him. If I had something to say about him, I would have said it to his face. He know how I get down,” McCall said.
McCall also opened up about why he never spoke in detail about Marcille’s previous accusations of domestic violence against him.
“A lot of my side wasn’t public because we made a deal that we wasn’t [sic] gonna talk about it. And when that deal was broken by her representatives, you know saying some crazy stuff about her safety, I started catching on to what was going on … I feel like family is important and you can’t let the devil come in and tear that up, so I wanted to fight for mine. I felt like putting her out there too early was just going to hurt my baby, ‘cause that’s her mama,” McCall explained.
McCall then made a shocking accusation of his own, saying that Marcille threatened to keep him from his daughter for the next several years.
“I said that because I had a recent conversation. Basically, that was thrown into my face to basically hurt my feelings because I was saying ‘If you do fear for your life, let’s go to a police station and talk.’ Or let’s sit down in mediation and talk. And that’s when she said, ‘Nah, you can’t see her ’til 2019, ” McCall said.
McCall then revealed that it’s been awhile since he last saw his daughter.
“It’s probably been like a month or so,” he said.
We’re not sure what goes on behind closed doors with McCall and Marcille, but we hope that, at least for the sake of their daughter, these two work out their issues with each other.
