In the wake of the tragic accident that has resulted in the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the dysfunctional relationship between the Houston family and R&B artist Bobby Brown has been on full display.

From multiple media outlets it has been reported that Bobbi Kristina may be brain dead and the family has been told to prepare for the worst, a painful possibility for her loved ones. Amid the tragedy there was an alleged incident at Bobbi Kristina’s bedside between her father and Nick Gordon. Before an actual physical fight occurred, media mogul Tyler Perry reportedly separated the two men.

It has now been revealed that Gordon and Bobbi Kristina were not legally married. If Bobbi Kristina dies, she has no will and under Georgia law that means that Bobby Brown would inherit the estimated $20 million dollar estate that was left to his daughter by Whitney Houston. It is currently unknown if Houston’s will indicated if another person was named to inherit this vast wealth.

Brown was divorced from Houston in 2006 and has had a negative relationship with the Houston family over the years. This even played out during Houston’s funeral when Brown was allegedly asked to leave the funeral service. If the worst happens and Bobbi Kristina dies, then a huge legal battle will likely ensue.
