Jay Z’s Roc Nation has brokered another power move to further the ever-expanding brand.
This latest venture finds Roc Nation partnering with talent agency Three Six Zero Entertainment to represent various talent, including actors, directors, and writers for film and television projects.
Three Six Zero Entertainment, formerly Three Six Zero Group, recently joined forces with well-nown talent agent David Unger to form the latter company. In addition to representing talent, the group will also provide brand and financial advising to its clients.
Roc Nation co-founder and CEO Jay Brown says the partnership will only grow the potential for all parties involved.
“Three Six Zero Group is a phenomenal visionary and groundbreaking partner to Roc Nation,” Brown says. “Mark and Dean and the Three Six Zero family have achieved tremendous success in music and now Three Six Zero Entertainment will expand their potential in film and television.”
Current clients include Calvin Harris, Deadmau5 and Frank Ocean.
At present, the newly formed alliance is developing a series about the electronic dance music world for HBO.
