Don Pancho’s Steak House is one of New York City’s hot new restaurants to watch out for. Located at 43 Bruckner Blvd., just across the bridge from the east side of Harlem, this steakhouse delivers an experience that everyone can enjoy. Don Pancho’s sought to fill a gap in the South Bronx neighborhood and clearly understands the values of a traditional steakhouse based on delivery of their delicious menu items. They also promote a great vibe with a mixed crowd in attendance, a live DJ on Thursdays and Fridays, and superb presentation of each and every dish.
When speaking to the head chef, ElPidio Escamila (pictured above), he mentioned that he runs his restaurant based on one philosophy: if it’s not fresh, it’s not good. Each customer is considered a guest (in fact they hate the word “customer”). They also make some of the most amazing drinks and you can taste the pride and love in each drink with every sip. This place also serves very large portions (which is rare in New York City). I recommend you start off with a watermelon margarita, the avocado salad and the rib-eye steak entree.
When you are in Harlem, venture across the bridge and visit Don Pancho’s Steak House. I promise you wont regret it!
