2015 Puerto Rican Infantil Pageant crowns a new princess

The Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade Inc. recently held its annual Miss Puerto Rican Infantil Pageant at the United Federation of Teachers in the Bronx, New York. The pageant contestants ranging in age from 6-9 are scored based upon stage presence, poise, and grammar and vocabulary skills in the categories of talent, evening wear and question and answer. Each contestant represented different cities from the Caribbean island, including Cabo Rojo, Loiza, Bayamon, San Sebastian, Humacao and Ponce.

Winners included: 1st princess Kayla Cordero, Queen Jade Rivera and 2nd princess, Alani Lopez.


The 29th annual Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade will take place May 31.
