A woman from East Orange, New Jersey, pleaded guilty to conducting a fatal penis enlargement in 2011. Kasia Rivera admitted in court that she gave Justin Street, 22, an injection of silicone directly into his penis in 2011. The injection caused his organs to shut down and resulted in a silicone embolism that caused his death the next day.

Rivera decided to plead guilty to reckless manslaughter just as a jury was being selected and her trial was to begin. But Rivera’s silicone injection was not just limited to men. She also was facing charges of injecting women’s buttocks, including that of a 17-year-old girl. The young girl had to be hospitalized because of the injection. Rivera was facing additional charges related to the butt injections, but when she pleaedd guilty to reckless conduct, those charges were dropped. She now will serve an estimated five years in prison and is subject to deportation back to Jamaica after her jail time is served.
