Sheree Whitfield and Kandi Burruss might have let the cat out of the bag that the filming for “RHOA’s” eighth season has begun, when we found a picture posted of them on Instagram. They appeared to be on a plane taking a flight somewhere. We all know a season kick off couldn’t properly take place without the annual girls’ trip. This is where all the drama from the new season will probably stem.
Secrets revealed, coached fights and all kinds of true colors normally break out during an out of town trip with anybody. That’s how you separate your friends from your associates or possible enemies. Although it hasn’t been confirmed where the ladies were headed we’re thinking they couldn’t have gone too far because Kandi and that baby bump need to be close to home. Then again, it’s not like she’s in her last trimester so she needs to travel while she can.
From the photos posted online via instagram and periscope (Porshe and Phaedra); they were defiinitely somewhere warm and tropical. A couple of new faces popped up on the ‘Gram in the group pictures. One new and familiar face was that of Kim Fields (“Facts of Life,” “Living Single”) is how most would be familiar with her character. Porsha has a pretty side chick buddy hanging out with her a lot named Shamea Morton.
Newbie on the block and alledged friend to the show Tammy McCall Browning appears to be a friend of Cynthia Bailey’s as she was allegedly spotted a couple places filming with Bailey. The two probably have the most in common among the girls. Tammy is married (yay, a married friend of the show ). Tammy’s a former dancer, fashionista, and momager to her hip-hop artist son Freedom Augmon (you guessed it, son of former NBA player Stacey Augmon).
Since Cynthia and Tammy both have a child, both love fashion and they are both married; this would make sense the two ladies may have a believable friendship. I guess we will have to find out when official cast is announced. Can’t wait!
Several pictures were surfacing up on instagram to tip us off the girls were heading on a trip. The only thing that remained a secret so far has been the location. Vets Cynthia Bailey Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss and returning housewife Sheree Whitfield were all just posting away on IG. So much for secrets with social media on deck.
Shamea Morton did accidentally spill the beans and made mention of a cruise ship in her periscope conversations with Porsha and Phaedra Parks. But we have no idea if they were in Miami, on a yacht in Lake Lanier or a quick trip to the Bahamas. Iinformation will probably start being leaked very soon.
The last person rumored to be on the show was actress Kim Fields; who was definitely on the trip and posing in the photos. I’m excited Fields will be joining the show. Where’s Chip? No, where is Kim Field’s husband? He is such a hoot. I can’t wait to see him in his “life of the party” rare form mode. I’m sure his tactics and personality plus helped seal the deal for Kim Fields. I also can’t wait to see Fields’ baby. Congrats Kim and welcome to the “RHOA.”
