Morris Chestnut’s new FOX crime comedy-drama, “Rosewood,” is heating up this week with special guest stars. “Have-Nots & Hematomas” airs Oct. 7 and features basketball superstar Chris Bosh as himself, while reality star Rasheeda portrays Scrumptious.
This Wednesday will mark the third episode of the new series in which Chestnut plays top Miami pathologist Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr., known as Rosie to his friends. Jaina Lee Ortiz is Detective Annalise Villa, Rosewood’s partner, who recently moved into town from New York.
On the upcoming episode, a series of deaths are brought to Rosewood’s attention. A troubled young genius is accused of the heinous crimes, but no one believes in his innocence except Rosewood. Additionally, Villa finds that her distant behavior is getting in the way of investigating the case.
This season, Rosewood will be busy juggling his private practice, increasing health issues, and a blossoming romance.
