At last we had the perfectly designed Black family sitcom that all of America could enjoy. He is a loving professional father who had a great family and lived in a tony section of Brooklyn. Bill Cosby as Cliff Huxtable broke enormous barriers for Blacks with the self-titled “Cosby Show.” We finally had a father figure on TV that was not morally flawed and always provided financially, mentally, and exuded complete fatherly engagement. Cosby was not only able to present his comedic genius but also impart knowledge gained from a man who holds a PhD from Temple University.
