Feeling like “Pablo?” ATL Feng Shui, 16, a southern artist hailing from the dirty south is. In case you’ve been on a pop culture fast and don’t have a clue who Pablo [Escobar] is, he’s been household buzz since the Colombian drug lord was the focus in part of the Netflix crime thriller, “Narcos.” By the age of 22, Pablo became a millionaire by stealing cars and trafficking marijuana. And, he made Forbes’ billionaire list each year from 1987 to 1993.

The millennial rapper with rock star swag, ATL Feng Shui, wasn’t even born in Pablo Escobar’s heyday. But that has nothing to do with his fascination.

The fresh-faced and adorable young rapper stopped by rolling out’s studio to talk about his burgeoning rap career, why he channeled the notorious cocaine kingpin and penned the kick-off-your-shoes-and-just-chill-hit, “Pablo.”

What is the backstory of your name: ATL Feng Shui?

My name has undergone a few changes over my career. It was DJ DJ and Mr. Feng Shui before I settled with this one. I like it because it’s pure.

You’re only in the 11th grade, how old is your career?

I’ve been rapping since I was eight.

What is your style?

I just get in the studio and go with the vibe. When I am performing, it’s time to pipe ‘em up. If you’re talking about my personal style … good. (laughs)

Where do you like to perform?

I enjoy performing out of town in recs and clubs. [He’s performed at every strip club in Atlanta.]

Tell me about your body art.

The name on my neck is my first tattoo. The bold letters, “U” and “N” are the initials for the 10-year-old record label I am with [United Nations of America]. I also have a Ying Yang on my neck. Gradually, I will add more of these. [He points to the intricate paisley teardrops that pepper his right hand.]

Is this your record label?

My dad, Dbo [pronounced dee-bo], and his business partner are the head honchos.

Why ATL Feng Shui commands your attention.

When it comes to my work, I get real focused and feel the rush. I can feel the turn up coming. Right now we are working one of the hardest albums an artist could work on. Follow him on Twitter: @ATLFengShui.

Favorite artists…

I rock with Future. Kanye goes hard. Skoolie has a good hit.
