Dr. Dre is no stranger to the tech industry either. Recently dubbed as “the hip-hop maverick that’s beating the tech titans at their own game,” Dre is knocking down stereotypes and raking in a boatload of cash as he does it. Dre, 50, whose real name is Andre Romell Young, broke into the tech industry with the launch of Beats Electronics, which was purchased by Apple in 2014 for a reported $3 billion.
