Jamal Woolard has been spotted around Atlanta (and on the streets of Brooklyn, New York) with a Tupac look-alike? Wait, it’s the actor Demetrius Shipp Jr. playing the late Tupac Shakur. Well, the good news is production on the new Tupac movie is under way and Woolard will be playing the role of the Notorious B.I.G.
Looks like 2016 will be the year to put Woolard back on the map. He ended 2015 doing some pretty big things living life in the celebrity lane as the face of the new Coogi line in a pretty amazing photo shoot at one of the hottest stores in the Lenox Square mall in Atlanta. Next, Woolard landed a role in Barber Shop 3 opposite Ice Cube, which will be released in 2016.
Director Benny Boom has been tapped to spearhead the Tupac project. Casting director Winsome Sinclair also contributed his considerable talents to the film.
