Looks like Chloe Goins is not having a happy new year, as Los Angeles prosecutors declined filing charges against Bill Cosby in the alleged 2008 Playboy Mansion assault due to statute of limitations expiration and a lack of evidence.
Well, after prosecutors did their investigation they couldn’t even find that Bill Cosby was on the guest list of any of the 57 events in 2008 that took place at the Playboy Mansion. As a matter of fact they looked through all the surveillance videos and couldn’t find either Bill Cosby nor Chloe Goins anywhere on any footage captured from the surveillance cameras. Interesting. The Prosecutors tried to interview Goins “alleged eyewitness/friend who not only denied knowing “Goins” but claimed she had never visited the Playboy Mansion. Please do better Chloe.
In case you aren’t up to speed, model Chloe Goins alleged Bill Cosby gave her a drink at the Playboy Mansion (when she was just a teenager) and she was drugged in the process. She claims to have awakened naked and Bill Cosby was performing lewd sexual acts. Good try, Chloe! I’m confused as to why one would wait until 2015 to file charges? Since she was a teenager, why was she even at the Playboy Mansion to begin with? It also didn’t help that in Chloe’s initial investigation worksheet she stated the assault took place at a Midsummer Night’s Dream Party in February of 2008. Then Chloe later said she couldn’t remember if it was there or at the Playboy Mansion. At either rate this case is closed.
The other alleged assault case from 1965 took place at Cosby’s Hollywood mansion. It was alleged a woman was forced to have sexual intercourse with him when she was only 17 years old. Well, this case was also past the statute of limitations as well. Both charges have been declined by Los Angeles prosecutors. With everything that is going on in the world of criminal charges I am very surprised a charge from 1965 with no evidence was even given attention.
What do you think? Will more of the allegations against Cosby be coming back with more lack of evidence? Do any of these women have police reports and hospital evaluations of what the doctors found from these alleged rapes? I’m in no way form or fashion saying that if women are rape victims they should not come forward. What I am saying is that women who have been raped should immediately report these incidents to the authorities and go to the doctor’s to have the forced entry and struggle marks documented so that men who attempt these acts can be prosecuted immediately and not wait seven years.
