Rodney Perry has just wrapped another successful “Improv Class” and held the finale class at the Atlanta Comedy Theatre. For the past four years Perry has been offering interested students five weeks of improv classes with a live show during the sixth week. Each student actor is able to showcase his or her skills in a group setting in front of an audience.
Perry is definitely a class act comedian and actor known best for his roles in Madea’s Big Happy Family and the Johnson Family Vacation. He’s toured with Mo’Nique and performed on Improv stages nationally. He currently hosts an Internet radio show in Atlanta. Thanks to the support of friends like Tommy Ford, Lamman Rucker, actors Brad James and his support team, Perry has been able to sustain his Improv Class through referrals and aspiring actors who want to sharpen their skills and take things to the next level.
The improv live class consists of a variety of different acquiring acting skills from lip synching skits, games like free tag acting, free style rapping and just an entire night of role playing and laughter. Perry converts his acting class into a comfortable, progressive learning environment where even the most shy actor is forced to come out of their shell and produce stellar improv performances for a very lively crowd.
Perry’s class not only boosts confidence levels, it increases your ability to hone in on your comedic reflexes, so you can tongue-lash your way out of the most trying situations. Visit rodneyperry.com for details.
