Despite the absence of presidential hopeful Donald Trump, “Celebrity Apprentice” is moving on.
On Thursday, Jan. 28, the hit reality show announced a long list of contenders for season eight: Laila Ali, Brooke Burke-Charvet, Eric Dickerson, Boy George, Matt Iseman, Carrie Keagan, Carson Kressley, Lisa Leslie, Jon Lovitz, Vince Neil, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Kyle Richards, Chael Sonnen, Porsha Williams, Ricky Williams and Carnie Wilson.
As previously reported, Arnold Schwarzenegger is taking the helm and production has been moved to the City of Angels. Joining the show as advisers are Warren Buffett, new mom Tyra Banks, Steve Ballmer and Honest’s Jessica Alba.
The winner will walk away with a $250,000 check for the charity of their choice; the series has cumulatively raised more than $15 million for various charities over the previous seasons.
Last spring, NBC famously cut ties with Trump, firing him from “The Apprentice” franchise, after his controversial remarks regarding immigrants. Aside from removing him as host of “The Apprentice,” the network also let go of the Trump-produced Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants. However, he has since appeared on “Saturday Night Live,” “Today,” and “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” all on NBC.
