Fan Fest offered free concerts, a host of vendors, and multiple step shows. The star-studded event featured meet and greets and photo ops withtoday’s hottest actors, artists and public figures.

Rolling out had a chance to sit down with the Wave God himself French Montana on Saturday during The CIAA Fan Fest. French Montana talked about his new single “Moses”; the Wave Gods mixtape hosted by Max B; and the release of his new movie, The Perfect Match, that hits theaters March 11.

Tell us about your experience at the CIAA so far.

I love it. I love when people come together and have a great time; it’s a beautiful thing.

You have a new movie coming out, The Perfect Match, tell us about that experience.

I loved it. I loved working with all these beautiful people. It was my first real acting job you know, I really couldn’t do no [sic] wrong ’cause I was playing myself, but I had a lot of fun doing it. I enjoyed doing it.

Tell us about your new single that’s tearing up the airwaves.

“Moses,” it’s me and Chris Brown. Shout-out to Chris Brown. Shout-out to Migos. It’s almost No. 1. You know we just gone [sic] keep grinding.

Tell us about your collaborations on the mixtape. You worked with Kanye West and so many other big names.

I kind of worked with everybody I wanted to work with. My favorite one is the Nas and Kanye [song]; just to have two legends like that on a song was a beautiful thing for me.

Should we expect to see you on any tours soon?

Yes, for sure, real soon.

Are there any future projects we can look out for?

Respect the Shooter, my movie. Definitely March 11 check out The Perfect Match. Definitely go ahead and request “Moses” for radio and definitely go get that Wave Gods mixtape. Look out for the album coming soon.
