Ed Hartwell is fed up with Keshia Knight Pulliam making him out to be a bad guy

Ed Hartwell tells a rolling out source he’s taking a stand against the rumors and lies.

Hartwell was engaged to Tonya Carroll, whom he dated after his divorce from his first wife, Lisa Wu. The relationship ended after Keshia Knight Pulliam used her feminine wiles on him. Hartwell and Pulliam married within less than six months of dating.

Pulliam who is four months pregnant with a girl has reportedly spilled news to TheYBF.com that Hartwell was likely cheating on her with Carroll.

Hartwell counters that claim and says Pulliam is envious of the fact that he and Carroll have remained friends and his relationship with her 13-year-old daughter remained in tact.

Carroll is a woman who is not in the entertainment spotlight and isn’t interested in dating a married Hartwell, especially since he married Pulliam while she carried leftover feelings.

“The Cosby Show” Cliff-Clair-and-kids fairytale for Pulliam started turning into a nightmare when Hartwell called on Monday, July 25, 2016 to let Pulliam know he filed for divorce. It was minutes before the news broke on TheYBF.com.

Hartwell contends that he is old-fashioned when it comes to marriage and Pulliam didn’t want to give up her independence. She didn’t believe in compromise. He loved her family and their tight unit, but he wanted his wife to be open to his opinions. In fact, her brashness was emasculating at times.

The couple didn’t spend any time together on Hartwell’s May 7th birthday. He spent it with friends in Las Vegas even though Pulliam publicly wished him a “Happy Birthday” amid rumors there was trouble in paradise for the pair.

Hartwell isn’t big on posting personal pleasantries on social media for show-and-tell. He simply wanted a wife, not an actress pretending to be one.

And for the paternity test, he doesn’t believe Pulliam cheated with anyone, but he just needs to know for sure because everything happened so quickly and they agreed to wait before having children, or so he thought.

Perhaps this would have played out better on an episode of “Dr. Phil” where these two could have really hashed things out and reconciled. There are children involved and this has become a hot mess for public consumption.
