“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Lil Scrappy found himself in the hot seat this week, after he was apprehended for some “BS.” According to the rapper turned reality star, his fiancée, Bambi Benson, came to his rescue. So, he did what any thankful soon-to-be husband would do: voice his gratitude via social media.

“Yeah bih my boo ain’t gone let me stay in no jail lol I had to do a all nighter and half a day for my bs but we good love y’all b blessed and man I love @adizthebam,” he wrote via Instagram, alongside a snap featuring the pair riding dirty, with Bam at the wheel.

Though the rapper did not disclose the reason for his arrest, this is not the first time he’s had a run-in with the law. In 2013, Scrap was arrested at a gas station in Atlanta, after getting into a brawl with a man who reportedly catcalled his girlfriend. While an off-duty officer at the same gas station broke up the fight, Scrappy, real name is Darryl Richardson, and the aggressor, Kenny Rogers, were booked for disorderly conduct.

“He was calling my girlfriend names and then put his hands on me … so I had to lay them paws on him,” he told TMZ at the time.

Meanwhile, Bam appears to be standing by her man’s side, through thick and thin. “Man my boo is so ratchet but he trying ?? don’t worry … I would never let this n—a sit in jail for too long. #HeFree,” she wrote in a follow-up post via Instagram.

In case you missed it, in a now-deleted post, Tammy Rivera sparked engagement rumors when she shared a snap of what appeared to be Bambi’s engagement bling, writing, “When you’re super happy for your friends.” Later that day, Bambi’s cousin confirmed reports, when she shared a snap featuring Scrap down on bended knee. She wrote, “I WAS SUPPOSE TO BE THERE @reallilscrappy you gotta do it over for me!!!!! @adizthebam I Looooove you guys so much Betta keep my cousin Happy foEvvvvvvvvaaa.”

Here’s to hoping Lil Scrappy can keep his paws to himself long enough for the pair to make it down the aisle.
