Kanye West has reportedly been hospitalized in Los Angeles just hours after canceling the rest of his Saint Pablo Tour dates.

via NBC:

A source familiar with the case said Los Angeles police responded to a medical welfare call about 1:20 p.m. No criminal activity was involved; the decision to hospitalize West was for his own health and safety, the sources said.

Allegedly, sources connected to West say he was being seen for sleep deprivation when it was decided that he should be admitted into UCLA Medical Center for a psychiatric evaluation.

Over the weekend, West abruptly stopped his concert and began to rant for 17 minutes about Beyonce, Jay Z, Hillary Clinton, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and radio stations. After the rant, West announced the concert was over and left the venue.

The Saint Pablo Tour has officially been canceled. Ticket sellers are offering refunds.

REFUND INFORMATION:

Ticketmaster said all orders online or by phone are being refunded automatically. The company said fees will also be refunded, except for any UPS delivery surcharges.

Refunds will post to the original payment source within 5-7 days.

Live Nation said fans can call customer service at 800-653-800 for refund information

StubHub has also agreed to issue refunds. They tweeted, “Good news Kanye fans – Last night’s show has been considered cancelled and refunds are on the way! Emails will be going out shortly.”

Kanye West’s mother Donda West passed away November 10, 2007, the day after she had cosmetic surgery. Many believe he continues to deeply mourn her death.

As of 2016, Kanye has won 92 awards and has a total of 369 nominations. Sending prayers to Kanye and the entire West family for a speedy and full recovery.
