Over the Thanksgiving weekend, the “Braxton Family Values” standout star, 39, marked her eighth anniversary to hubby Vincent Herbert, 47 with a sweet shout- out on Instagram.
“Happy 8th anniversary to my best and sometimes only friend,” wrote Braxton on Saturday, Nov. 26, as she performed a cute song for her main squeeze.

Of course, as fans know far too well, the pair’s love story has been something of a roller coaster ride this year alone. As previously reported, earlier in the summer, the couple was the subject of numerous reports that their marriage was on the rocks. However, later on, in true Tamar fashion, the songstress and television personality shut down the rumors by singing Mariah Carey’s hit ballad, “Always Be My Baby” into Herbert’s ear in a brief video clip via social media.

Braxton also unexpectedly departed from “The Real” as a co-host. Though she has since booked an epic new gig with Steve Harvey’s production company, she recently revealed that it was her main man and manager, who had to break the hard news. “He was just like, ‘I think you got fired, I think,'” said Braxton. “I’m like, ‘Whatchu talking about? Fired for what?’ My heart sunk into my shoes, really. I pretty much fell over.”
In spite of it all, it appears that the pair has been able to move through the storm, with Braxton recently proclaiming to be “so thankful” for her husband and son, Logan Vincent Herbert, which they share together. “He’s the peanut to my jelly,” Braxton wrote via Instagram alongside an adorable Halloween snap, dressed as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (of course).
