Congrats are in order for Kobe and Vanessa Bryant.
The retired basketball star and his wife of 15 years have welcomed their third child together — a beautiful baby girl, multiple reports say. While no further details were readily available — including a birth date or the baby’s name — the pair are said to have given birth sometime earlier this week in the Los Angeles area, People reports.
Meanwhile, the newborn brings the family count to a fantastic five, as the Bryants are already parents to daughters Natalia Diamante Bryant, 13, and Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, 10.

Previously reported, the duo first shared the news of their pregnancy via Instagram in July with matching photos. “Beyond blessed and excited to share that we are expecting our third baby girl!!! #blessed #babymamba #thankful,” the 34-year-old mama-of-three wrote alongside an image featuring a pair of black and red sneakers, sparkly red bow and a miniature-sized onesie, embellished with the words “Baby Mamba.”
In September, the pair celebrated the upcoming arrival of their child with a private baby shower. “Thank you to everyone that came to celebrate our baby girl with us yesterday!,” Vanessa wrote via Instagram. “We had such an amazing time and we are truly thankful for each and every one of you. #BabyShower #BabyBlessing,” she concluded below a snap featuring the pair hugged up with a wall adorned in flowers serving as their backdrop.
The baby news seemed to come at just the right time for the family, as months prior, the iconic athlete would play his final game in the NBA. In mid-April, Kobe, who announced his retirement last November, stepped out onto the court at the Staples Center for the last time, concluding his 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Following his final game, he tweeted a heartfelt message to his fans: “Last night was the final chapter to an incredible story. I walk away at peace knowing my love for the game & this city will never be broken.”
