Another racist has risked their livelihood by showing their ignorance on social media. The latest incident occurred with fireman Ryan Hudson who works in Belding, Michigan. Hudson responded negatively to a Black woman on Facebook.

According to Fox 17, the Black woman commented on a post that featured Colin Kaepernick taking a knee during the national anthem. The Black woman responded to the post by writing, “Black Lives Matter.” Hudson attacked the woman with racist insults.

He began his rant by writing, “You are the true epitome of a n—.” Hudson also suggested that the woman should become a slave because she didn’t believe in “All lives matter.” He also wrote, “All lives matter. And if you think it’s just black lives kiss my ass bitch and go back to the fields that us in the north fought to free you from.”

The Black woman was shocked by the disturbing post and made a screenshot. The screenshot eventually made its way to the chief of the fire department. Chief Greg Moore reacted immediately to the post and decided to fire Hudson. Moore believes that firefighters should not have any racist views because they are in the position of helping lives of all races.

The incident is the latest example of how racism on social media can lead to a spot at the unemployment office.

Following the election, Ramsey Taylor, a director at Clay County Development Corporation in West Virginia, went to Facebook to speak down on the First Lady.

In the racist post, Taylor wrote, “It will be refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady in the White House. I’m tired of seeing a Ape in heels.” The post was then liked by the mayor of Clay, Beverly Whaling, who wrote, “Just made my day Pam” in the comments section.

Whaling resigned from her position as mayor and Taylor was suspended. Taylor was never fired and will return to work two days before Christmas.
