Cardi B is the latest victim of yet another souped up story line on reality television where production explains one thing to you in order to get you on a plane and at your film location. Imagine, you are on the trip, getting paid for filming at a nice warm tropical climate area. You are having a great time, looking cute, and having cocktails like you are on a real vacation. As far as you know, everything is all good and you come home glad you decided to go for a little R&R. However, when you finally watch the vacation episode air, you discover you were an uninvited guest. Read Cardi B’s reaction shared on an Instagram video:

“Don’t play me like that. Like **gas was begging me to go to **ing Mexico me and my sister begging us, and I had so much work to do because at the time I was working on my mix tape . I don’t know why Vh1 was making me look like some mark %#^$  So yall make me go to f**ing Mexico when I didn’t have that type of time on my hands. Like I was some uninvited guest and I would never chill with non of yall b***** ever Never!  Don’t play me like that. That’s why I’m not playing with this reality tv ish anymore. FOH! This ish is f**** ridiculous.

Is this another unsatisfied reality television sensation that has announced her retirement from reality TV? Or should we say it’s her departure from “Love & Hip Hop NYC” to pursue her full-time music career? Yes, VH1 gave her an excellent platform to exploit her musical talents with the help of DJ Self and producer Stix. Cardi B’s music campaign was a viral success as she captured the audience on the big screen and in her Instagram videos and Snapchats with phrases like “Get this sh-money out here,” and several little catch phrases the fans gravitated to.

What do you think about Cardi B always taking it to Instagram Live and her fans to express how she feels? Should she just settle for whatever reality TV dishes out about her and view it as entertainment or does she have a right to be offended?
