After interviewing Karlie Redd a couple of weeks ago, we couldn’t wait to ask Yung Joc what he thought of her comments on upgrading now that she is in a new relationship with Ceaser from VH1’s “Black Ink Crew.”

Joc surprised us by taking the high road and wishing Karlie and her new boo the best in their relationship. He said he did his best to make Karlie look good when they were together and wishes her nothing but the best. While his well wishes may have been a bit sarcastic, we have to give Joc credit for keeping it classy.

In addition to his on-again, off-again romance with Redd, Joc talked about why it’s been so hard for him to find the right relationship. His storyline on “Love & Hip Hop” played out a few seasons ago with him torn between two women who both had his children. Joc acknowledged he dated the two women because between the both of them he felt that he had the perfect situation. He acknowledged hurting both women and says he felt bad about the way things played out on television and the fact that he hurt two women he truly loved.

Joc wants other men to try to learn to have healthy relationships with the mothers of their children. He says things become difficult when parents aren’t co-parenting in a positive way and ultimately that’s not good for the children. Having a volatile relationship with a “baby mama” is also something that can negatively affect a new relationship.

Check out the video below for more of Joc’s feedback on dating and relationships after the jump.
