Each year, the historic Auburn Avenue section of Atlanta throws a well-attended street festival. The 2017 Sweet Auburn Music Festival this past weekend continued to be a family-friendly event filled with music, culture and great festival food. From funnel cakes to smoked turkey legs, festivalgoers were treated to diverse foods and culture. A view of vendors’ stalls showed beautiful African print dresses and shirts as well as handmade jewelry, custom T-shirts and original artwork. Here are a few images from the 2017 Sweet Auburn Music Festival in Atlanta.
