Lil Wayne and Drake reunite on 'Family Feud' off 'Dedication 6'

With another holiday season in the books, fans are now unwrapping the gift that Lil Wayne left for us on Christmas day. Weezy released the sixth installment of his Dedication mixtape series (hosted by DJ Drama), which features Young Money alums Drake, and Nicki Minaj, along with Corey Gunz and Zoey Dollaz. Although Wayne masterfully remixes hit singles on each project, the one that’s having the hip-hop world on its toes is “Family Feud” feat. Drake.

With Jay-Z being a constant source of inspiration for both Drizzy and Weezy, they tackled the No ID-produced track with great ease. Drake starts by rapping about various situations surrounding Wayne being owed money from Universal, Meek Mill’s sentencing, and his dealings with Apple:

“We gon’ have to break the billi’ curse

“I need my paper long like “A Milli” verse

“Or too long like a sentence from a Philly judge

“F— is the point in all the beefing when we really blood”

Wayne then got in on the action and he eerily sounds like the Wayne of 2006:

“Check me a right one today

“You playing with fire today

“The Angel and Lion are greats

“On my god, lightning striking twice in this place”

The record is currently #1 in the trending videos category on YouTube.
