Sanaa Lathan is bodacious, brainy, beautiful, bald — and in a bikini.
Lathan, 46, is stunting and stunning with a new look. To say that she’s grown into it would be an understatement. And, after getting over the initial shock of losing her lengthy locks, she is rocking the look.
The real estate above the Love & Basketball and The Perfect Guy actress’ skull is barren for a reason; Lathan is in a starring role in the Netflix romantic film “Nappily Ever After.”
Lathan first channeled her inner Amber Rose (joke) last fall. But it looks like Lathan likes the look so much that she’s even taken to flossing the style in swimwear. She joins the likes of Cara Delevingne, Kate Hudson, Kristen Stewart, and a cadre of female celebrities who rocked the bald look in 2016. She showed her ‘do, or lack thereof, in an Instagram video yesterday.
In the video, Lathan is parked in a makeup chair with her head tilted off-camera, before peering into the shot to reveal her bald look. “I feel so light, I could fly away,” Lathan says, proudly rubbing her head.
“It’s going to a be a lot of fun. I can’t wait for you guys to see what we are creating,” he said in the Instagram video. “We are creating some black girl hair magic [in] this film. It’s going to be really good, and the message is really amazing. It’s near and dear to my heart, and I know that women around the world will be able to relate to Violet, A.K.A. Sanaa Lathan for ‘Nappily Ever After.’ Can’t wait for you guys to see it.”
