McDonald’s recently surprised customers in the Atlanta area with the celebration of the McDonald’s $1, $2, $3 Dollar Menu. On Jan. 23, Atlanta Hawks star rookie John Collins and Instagram sensation Mr. Hotspot visited the McDonald’s restaurant on Wesley Chapel in Decatur, Georgia.

“We’re having a celebration to let customers know about our new Dollar Menu,” McDonald’s owner John Hurt said before the event. “We have NBA star John Collins and Mr. Hotspot. It’s a beautiful thing to see customers come into your restaurant and enjoy the experience.”


Collins, recently named to the Rising Stars rookie game during NBA All-Star weekend, also spoke about the event. “I’m new to Atlanta, but it’s good to make a big impact in the community,” Collins said. “It’s only right to give back to the community and celebrate McDonald’s $1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu.”  

Mr. Hotspot, who has 1.1 million followers on Instagram, gave words of encouragement. “I would like to give thanks to God, he said. “When you’re down, just go ahead and smile. You’re going to forget about it. I’m loving it!”


The $1, $2, $3 Dollar Menu will allow customers to keep a bit of money in their pockets as the deal will result in a  15 percent price reduction. 

Food items will include McChicken, sausage burrito, cheeseburger, and soft drinks of all sizes will cost $1 with the new menu. The $2 items will include sausage McGriddle, 2-piece Buttermilk Crispy Tenders, Bacon McDouble, and small McCafé drinks. The $3 items are the Sausage McMuffin with Eggs, new Classic Chicken Sandwich, Triple Cheeseburger, and Happy Meals.
